Turkish defense company Baykar Teknoloji announced that it will provide the Bayraktar TB2 SİHA, which it plans to purchase for Ukraine, to Lithuania free of charge. Vasil Bodnar, Ukraine’s Ambassador to Ankara, thanked Baykar Teknoloji for his meaningful gesture, describing it as “an incredible example of support”. Lithuanian Defense Minister Arvydas Anušauskas, on the other hand, announced that the money collected will be given to Ukraine as ammunition and humanitarian aid and expressed his gratitude to Baykar Teknoloji and Turkey.
People of Lithuania, a campaign was organized to buy Bayraktar TB2 for Ukraine. Within the framework of the campaign, 6 million Euros were collected in 3 days. Baykar Teknoloji announced that Bayraktar TB2 will be provided to Lithuania free of charge for this sensitive campaign organized by the people of Lithuania.
