“High State Order” from Lithuania to Zelensky

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda paid a visit to Kyiv on the occasion of the Ukrainian State Day. Within the framework of the visit, Neuseda made a speech in the Ukrainian Parliament and presented the highest state order of Lithuania to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

The President of Lithuania Gitanas Neuseda arrived in Kyiv on an official visit on the occasion of the 28 July Ukraine State Day. As part of the visit, Neuseda met with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky at the Mariyinskiy Palace.

Later, the President of Lithuania gave a speech in the Ukrainian Parliament. In his speech, Neuseda said, “Today, Lithuania supports Ukraine with all its means; It provides and will continue to provide military, humanitarian and financial support.”

Emphasizing that the desire to help Ukraine since the beginning of the war united all Lithuanians, the president said, “Lithuania will help Ukraine to achieve victory in this war. We are aware of the threat that Russia’s imperial ambitions pose to the security of the entire region. History shows that the tyrant of Moscow must be stopped in time. We do not have the luxury of repeating old mistakes,” he said.

Later, Neuseda presented the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky with the “Order of Vytautas the Great”, Lithuania’s highest “Order of the State”.
