Swedish Telecom company shifts to 5G
Telecom, Sweden’s telecom company, first announced that they switched to 5G publicly.
Tele2 Company General Manager Anders Nilsson announced in a written statement that 5G base stations are activated in the capital cities of Stockholm, Göterborg and Malmö.
“However, many of the current phones are not compatible with 5G technology,” said Nilsson, stressing that customers with new generation phones will start to benefit from 5G service at no extra cost.
